The Kasberg in Grünau im Almtal is a very ideal and beloved winter sport Area because of the natural position from the Alps: Kasberg lies in the north of the Alps in a real “snow hole”. That means that here falls a lot more snow than average and remains longer than normal.

This ski-area has 40 km ski-runs: 20 km blue, 17 km red and 3 km black ones. For the children there is a Ski arena, where magic carpets and soft slopes for beginners and were children can learn skiing in a playing way.

Beside the very gut position of the Kasberg it has also 110 extra snow guns so that -when necessary- extra snow can be delivered.

From the Parking place you can take the free “Shuttlebus” to the valley. During the last years the Kasberg has developed, also because of the presence of 14 ski-lifts, to a fantastic family winter sport area.
